Pellerano & Herrera celebrates Dominican Reforestation Month
On October 29, Pellerano & Herrera held its annual reforestation day in celebration of the National Reforestation Month in the Dominican Republic, month in which the country sets the goal to plant 2.5 million trees of different species throughout the national territory.
The event took place at the National Biodiversity Park, Gonzalo district, Province of Monte Plata, and served as “a continuation of the social responsibility program initiatives the firm has been implementing in favor of education and the environment,” noted firm partners Luis Rafael Pellerano, Gustavo Mena and Lucy Objío.
During the event, held in coordination with the Vice-Ministry of Forest Resources of the Quisqueya Verde National Plan, Pellerano & Herrera’s team planted 1,000 native mahogany trees as part of its commitment to the environment.
