Pellerano & Herrera releases book in Madrid on bilateral agreements between the Dominican Republic and Spain
January 18, 2018- Madrid, Spain. Pellerano & Herrera has released today in the University of Nebrija of Madrid, the publication “Convenios Bilaterales entre República Dominicana y el Reino de España” during an event attended by academics, businessmen and diplomats.
Managing partner, Ricardo Pellerano Paradas, expressed his satisfaction with the release of the book, published by the Pellerano & Herrera Foundation, and acknowledged the presence of Luis Henry Molina, Director of the Export and Investment Center of the Dominican Republic, and Olivo Rodríguez Huerta, Dominican ambassador in Spain, during the event.
Pellerano highlighted the historical relations between the Dominican Republic and Spain, “that not only have a common history and language, but also numerous common economic interests”. He emphasized that Spain is the main source of foreign investment in the hospitality industry of the Dominican Republic, and at the same time one of the main tourist sources of the country.
“Spain is also one of the three main foreign investors in the Dominican Republic, , while in Spain there are more than half a million of the Dominicans”, said Pellerano.
“Greater part of this cultural and economic exchange has been sheltered, stimulated and regulated by a set of legal agreements which have been compiled and commented by the Pellerano & Herrera Foundation, serving its purpose as a source of information on legal culture for both countries.”
