Carolina León joined the firm in 2006 and became a Partner in 2019. With over 20 years of professional experience, she leads the firm’s Energy and Telecommunications practices and serves as a member of the Governance, Strategy, and Business Committees.

Her expertise spans key areas such as foreign investment, corporate law, regulation, corporate governance, contracts, mergers and acquisitions, labor law, free zones, and distribution, agency, and franchise relations.

She stands out for her involvement in highly complex transactions, including acquisitions, corporate sales, and structured financing. Carolina has provided counsel on high-impact projects such as securing concessions for mining and renewable energy initiatives, as well as on multilateral financing in the infrastructure and telecommunications sectors. Her role as local counsel in significant cross-border operations underscores her reputation as an expert in highly regulated markets.
