Sheila Oviedo joined the firm in 2010 and currently serves as a Partner in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice, co-leading the firm’s civil, commercial, and labor litigation areas. With over 14 years of experience, she combines a profound understanding of the evolving Dominican jurisprudence with an innovative approach, delivering high-value legal counsel to a diverse portfolio of national and international clients.

Her practice spans civil, commercial, labor, and social security law, as well as specialized areas such as constitutional, consumer, administrative, aviation, and sports law. Sheila advises on the design and implementation of sophisticated strategies for critical operations, leading litigation and strategic negotiations involving representation agreements, distribution contracts, employment contracts, and alternative dispute resolution processes.

She has also supported international companies entering the Dominican market, collaborating on due diligence processes, corporate projects, and transactions alongside the firm’s Legal Business Consulting Department.

Throughout her career, Sheila has consistently implemented agile and effective solutions, earning recognition from clients for her proactive and disruptive approach to devising and executing tangible strategies in high-stakes matters.
