Experts Recommend Fiscal Strategic Plan for DR

Santo Domingo. Fiscal experts defended the application of a fiscal strategic plan in the Dominican Republic which, they stated, will lead to the successful financial management of national enterprises. Specialists Pedro Urrutia and Ovadis Marmolejos, expressed during a seminar of “Fiscal Planning: an obligatory tool facing reforms and the NCF (number of fiscal receipt)”, celebrated by the Dominican-Canadian and British Chambers of Commerce in the Dominican Republic in the UNIBE premises, for the 20th. Anniversary of the foundation of these two institutions. Economist Germania Montás, Assistant General Director of the DGII, who since 1996 has performed important offices in the public and private sector, approached the subject from the tax collection point of view. The event concluded pointing out that price transfers are an efficient tool of control for the fiscal authorities, and the possibility that with the globalization of markets their observance and application intensity may be reduced, since the approach of the economies minimize risks for the configuration of the universal income. Therefore, it only remains to watch over the operations carried out between parties with relations in low taxed jurisdictions. This seminar achieved the purpose for attendants to become aware and clearly understand any controversy on the fiscal matter and to know the importance of applying a fiscal strategic plan in the country. Five experts grouped in this seminar to discuss the fiscal matter analized in all its perspectives and possible solutions.
