Published on:Pellerano & Herrera held a cocktail party recently to bid farewell to partner Hipólito Herrera Vassallo, who has retired from the practice of law after 31 years and now will be working full time on his real estate development business. The ceremony was attended by the firm’s founder, Juan Manuel Pellerano Gómez, and other partners, lawyers, and close associates of the honoree. Ricardo Pellerano, managing partner of Pellerano & Herrera, gave an emotional speech that evoked the many years shared “with our dear Hipólito” and that highlighted his contributions “to taking the firm to the top of the Dominican market.” “Even though I don’t want to let him go, I can only welcome his decision and his success, wish him the best, and let him know that in Pellerano & Herrera he will always have a home.”
Between laughter and tears, Herrera Vassallo’s colleagues presented him with a plaque celebrating his years with the firm. Touched by the warm feelings, Herrera Vassallo stated, “I’m more than excited by the warm show of affection from all of you with whom I’ve shared so many good times and more than half my life.”
