Pellerano & Herrera published its renowned Doing Business Guide in the Dominican Republic, in its twenty-seventh edition and for the first time translated in Italian, on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the firm.
The Guide’s launch took place yesterday at the Center for Export and Investment of the Dominican Republic (CEI-RD) with the participation of Andrea Canepari, Italian ambassador, and Marius De Leon, the Executive Director of the CEI-RD. During the event, Ricardo Pellerano, managing partner of Pellerano & Herrera, also announced the launch of the businessindominican.com website, in January 2019, "where the information on foreign investment in the Dominican Republic will be permanently updated."
"The Doing Business Guide in the Dominican Republic is the most complete legal manual for doing business in the Dominican Republic, as it contains all the general information that is useful for foreign investors when considering the Dominican Republic as an investment destination."
The publication includes the updated legal frameworks of leading industries and describes step by step how to set up a company, handle tax, labor and environmental issues, immigration issues and any others that are of general interest for a foreign investor.
Pellerano & Herrera has been publishing this Guide annually, for the past 30 years, in printed and digital formats, in Spanish, English, French, Mandarin, Russian and since yesterday also in Italian.
The Italian edition incorporates a special section on incentives for different industries, which will also appear in the following editions in five other languages, in which the Guide is published.
Every year, between 80,000 and 100,000 copies of the Guide circulate in airports, hotels, commercial offices, and embassies and consulates, both in the Dominican Republic and abroad. Today, more than three million Guides have been distributed around the world.
The Guide is not only a tool of immeasurable value for investing and doing business in the Dominican Republic, but also a valuable tool for promoting foreign investment in the Dominican Republic.
"In 2019, Pellerano & Herrera will continue to be an important part of the gear that drives the Dominican economy, as it has been for 65 years, giving excellent service to its customers," said Ricardo Pellerano.
